Ollie Pope stepped up to the plate and kept attacking the Indian bowlers, putting together a partnership of 93 runs· However, Siraj was able to take his first wicket of the series which is a vital breakthrough for India as they will always remember how dangerous Ollie Pope can be if he is allowed to bat for long periods.

Yadav Kuldeep also picked up pace in the absence of Ashwin Ravichandran and took two wickets. Jadeja also got in with two of his own· India will be glad with their performance on the day and they stood firm and did not give up despite the circumstances.
